i know two sisters, about 2 years apart in age.
both are incredibly attractive. i’m talking the full trifecta. amazing hair, cute faces, hot bodies.
i’ve known them for 5 years. and they constantly complain about their looks. always “i’m fat. my hair is so ugly. my nose is huge.”
they’re told all the time by plenty of people that they’re pretty.
well, not anymore. people finally got sick of their complaining about their looks, and sick of arguing with them over it. so now people either ignore it or just agree with them.
where was i going with this?
Dated a girl like this. She was amazingly pretty but would always go in the mirror and say “Oh, my hair is blah” or “I am so fat!” (she wasn’t) or worse when I knew she spent hours getting ready it was “God, I hate this outfit it makes my legs look too big” or “I am so ugly!” in her facebook pictures where she would do a cute picture. Everyone would tell her “No, no you are so cute, pretty,etc” Guys would hit on her and it was the same thing. I knew she said she was ugly just to fish for compliments. It was ok once in a while but everyday it was like this.
I just got sick of it and agreed with her. Now I’m the jerk.
Had dated a girl like this. She was amazingly pretty but every day it was “I’m so ugly”, “Ugh, my thigh!” she would spend hours getting ready and it would be a conversation about how “ugly” and “fat” she was. Her facebook pictures were full of cute pictures with the caption “Ugh, ugly pic” and everyone went on and on “No, you are cute. You are pretty. Look how thin you are!” Guys hit on her all the time and she loved the attention which I didn’t mind but every day it was something else and if she didn’t get a compliment her complaints got longer.
I got sick of it and after a long tirade about her hair I agreed with her. Yes, it does look like a rat’s nest. That’s all I said and now I’m the jerk.
