I really think that memes about cutting or suicide should not be allowed, as they are not actually that amusing and are quite offensive. and yes, i used to cut, so i do have reason to be angry. this is not something that should be made into a joke. yes, there are idiots that “cut” for attention, but there is also an incredible amount of people of every age, race, and gender that hurt themselves, and joking about cutting makes it very difficult for them to get the help they need. so mods, please consider this opinion.

I totally agree with this, self harm is a very serious condition and it isn’t right to laugh at it.
Agreed. It isn’t a joke, and making fun of it is only going to make people who cut feel worse about themselves. Pictures like these can be triggering for some people, and I think we would all prefer not to risk having people hurt themselves as a result of a thoughtless, insensitive post.

I hate how people put ”emo” and ”self harm together.” Self harm is a very serious condition and it’s very ignorant to put those two terms together. In my opinion its like calling someone with disabilities a ‘retard.’
